SIMPLIFIED IMPRESSION TAKING & JAW RELATION RECORDING METHODS

SIMPLIFIED IMPRESSION TAKING & JAW RELATION RECORDING METHODS

$150.00Price

In taking impressions for denture or full mouth rehabilitation, the fabrication of an individual tray was considered essential. Naturally, producing an appropriate form of an individual tray based on sufficiently extended border through preliminary impression can be the basis for fabricating an ideal denture. Even in Jaw relation recording, the use of an occlusal wax rim was an essential tool in recording vertical dimension, centric relation, the maxillary anterior teeth position and the facial contour et al.

However, for this process, there was a problem that additional work was required by sending it to the dental lab, the number of patient visits increased, and long clinical time was also required. In this lecture, rather than skipping these processes, I would like to introduce a new way to do these processes effectively and very easily.

Various methods have been proposed to produce results similar to traditional methods while reducing the number of visits by patients and reducing clinical procedure time.
In this lecture, I will introduce the methods for occlusal plane recording using POP bow, jaw relation recording using JB fork, and immediate individual tray fabricating methods using JB tray. Through this lecture, I will propose the new treatment protocol to increase the efficiency in denture or full mouth rehabilitation treatment.

Various methods have been proposed to produce results similar to traditional methods while reducing the number of visits by patients and reducing clinical procedure time.

In this lecture, Dr. Huh will introduce the methods for occlusal plane recording using POP bow, jaw relation recording using JB fork, and immediate individual tray fabricating methods using JB tray. Through this lecture, he will also propose the new treatment protocol to increase the efficiency in denture or full mouth rehabilitation treatment. The followings will be discussed:

    • Review of occlusal plane, vertical dimension, and centric relation
    • POP bow application for detecting occlusal plane (including a demonstration with mannequin)
    • JB fork application and concept understanding
    • Only 2 step digital denture using JB fork
    • JB tray application for immediate individual tray
    • How to apply in 3- step conventional denture using JB tray (including a demonstration with mannequin)
